Every time the phone rings one of my chihuahuas gets really upset, howls and cries until someone answers it and my other chihuahua whos blind won't stop barking at the phone. Also our bird chirps along too, it sounds like a zoo when the phone rings.
My dog was brought up with toys that play music when squeaked. He catches a toy then squeaks it and we all applaud his cleverness. So I guess its only natural for him to prick up his ears whenever he hears music. He's ALWAYS ready to play musical games.
I was at my friend's backyard wedding when she walked down the aisle accompanied by someone playing the bagpipes and also her dog which was singing along. He kept on singing throughout the service which broke the tension and made it an enjoyable and unique occasion!
When I dance around to music sometimes my dog, Lily, will jump around on her hind legs with me.
"My maltese X will wait at the end of the steps and refuses to come indoors no matter how many times I call her name. Thats when I have to sing a special song for her...and start dancing to it. Only then will she come in."
